Update and Upgrade School Facilities
The district is prioritizing the repair and replacement of boilers, HVAC, siding, lighting, windows, flooring, and other much-needed school facility improvements. These upgrades will improve learning spaces, address deferred maintenance and save the district funds through energy efficiency.
Expand Career and Technical Education
The district plans to build a new facility to support career education in industrial trades. Additionally, the district plans to renovate existing facilities to provide a professional wood shop, metal shop, and culinary kitchen.
Safety and Security Upgrades
Updates and upgrades to safety and security systems will increase the district’s ability to keep our schools safe. Upgrades will include secure entryways at each school, access control, ADA accessibility upgrades and exterior lighting.
A Place for Community
Providing students and the Colton community with a place to gather and connect is a priority for the district. This bond would support renovations and expansion to athletic facilities and fields, ensure accessibility for all, and create a gathering space for students and the community.
